Obama money supporting criminal activities

The Obama campaign has paid ACORN $800,000 to support its voter registration activities, and ACORN is currently under investigation in nine states for voter fraud. Obama money is being used to commit crime and undermine the election.

An ACORN rep was talking on FOX. He was slippery to be sure. Pass through money is unsavory to defend and impossible to over criticize. Every one does it in all kinds of ways.

My impression is that it is very legal for Obama's campaign to make a donation to an org that does what it says that it does. I think that McCain or any Republican would seriously consider giving a wad of $ to any org that does a good job getting out voters that are most apt to vote for them. My understanding is that this is what the Obama campaign has done.

ACORN, as you say, is under investigation. It will be interesting to learn the results of the investigations.
If the results come before the election, they will be germane and provocative, if they come after the elections, ooh ooops!
